Henry Njuguna Kimani is a distinguished legal professional holding a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Moi University and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law (KSL). He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb, U.K. Kenya Branch), and is in the final stages of attaining Fellowship status in Arbitration. Additionally, Mr. Njuguna is a qualified Mediator with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law.

Mr. Njuguna possesses extensive experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and serves as a Lead Consultant in ADR within Kenya. He’s well versed in Data Protection Law, Commercial Law, Legislative and Policy work at K.N Advocates.

His professional responsibilities include managing both local and international commercial transactions, drafting Private Placement Memoranda, conducting mediations and conciliations, adjudicating disputes, preparing Limited Partnership Agreements, and drafting contracts between private equity funds and investors, including performance benchmarks. Mr. Njuguna also prepares consultancy and employment contracts for Fund Managers and provides advisory services to foreign and local investors on procedures related to the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) and the Capital Markets Authority (CMA). He offers guidance on mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring, and debt rescheduling.

Notable Achievements:

• Contributed to the investigation of the 2007 post-election violence in Kenya as part of the Kenya National Human Rights Commission (KNHCR) team.

Recognized as one of the youngest professionals to attain membership in Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK chapter).
